Rally ELMOT – Krause completed, Kuchar wins and Peugeot

car4Tomasz Kuchar and Daniel Dymarskie the Peugeot 207 S2000 had no equal – turned out to be the best in all four classifications: General, Class S2000, sponsorship Teams and Manufacturers.

Kuchar and Dymurski were leaders after the first special stage and gave pursuit to the end of the competition. Fought for the maximum number of points – 45 and took the lead in the Polish Championships.

The other crew at the finish line – Michal Solowow and Maciej Baran (Ford Fiesta S2000) entered the run with loss of 58 seconds, and the third – Leszek Kuzaj and Craig Parry (Skoda Fabia S2000), three seconds later.

We looked at closely debut of Skoda Fabia S2000 with Kuzaj behind the wheel. During the second OS in on Saturday, the crew struggled with the vulnerability of the steering, causing difficult to offset the loss of time. Additionally debut of Skoda Fabia S2000 rally on the routes required to gain relevant experience and to find appropriate settings for the car. Kuzajowi managed to stand on the podium, though he was not able to exploit the potential of one hundred percent of new car

Interestingly, the crew looked like the fight against the Subaru Rally Team Australia – Cajetan Kajetanowicza and Jarek Baran. At the second special stage of the Subaru “caught puncture and 46 crew landed on the spot. Pursuit table ended up in 7th place in the overall standings, being the fastest crew on the three special stages and a second crew in the classification of the second day.

Winner – Tomasz Kuchar, after the rally, said: “We are very happy, because winning such a difficult race in difficult conditions and so the strong competition gives great satisfaction. I promised myself that we will not give a “snatch” victory and drove, where they could, on an absolute 100 percent capacity, and where there was a lot of holes, or threatening to cut tires, very sensibly and calmly.
