Geely would be ready to buy Volvo from Ford for 1.8 billion dollars. The latest rumors this, now confirmed, should take place early in the month of February, although some quibbles purely legal and bureaucratic in nature may take longer than expected. Ford bought Volvo in 1999 to 6.45 Milardi dollars, then would face a net loss really consistent, but seems to be a necessary evil to prevent further “bleeding”.
