a33Looking back at the new Volkswagen Sharan, the most important that the House of Wolfsburg has exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show, currently underway. This is the second generation of German SUV, introduced for the first time in 1995 and aesthetically renewed in 2000 and, finally, in 2004. The new Sharan came after the first generation was produced in more than 600,000 copies, becoming over the past 15 years the leader of the segment.

aaHere are the first official images of the new Volkswagen Sharan which will be presented in less than 24 hours at the Geneva Motor Show. After 15 years, the first SUV in Wolfsburg gives way to the second generation, mainly characterized by the sliding side doors allowing easier access to the rear of the Sharan. The cockpit has a configuration with 7 seats, with seats equipped with the flexible system called EasyFold.

At launch, the new Sharan will be available with three different engines. Mainly, there are two engines: the petrol 2.0 TSI 200 bhp and 2.0 TDI variants declined from 140 to 170 hp.
